The Embedded Widget is a configurable component designed to integrate external content or applications directly into the Clearion Web interface.
This widget enhances the platform's flexibility by allowing users to incorporate third-party tools, dashboards, or web pages within the environment.
Description of Embedded Widget
To add embedded widget please follow the steps below:
Go to the project, select the page where you need to add the widget. This could be a Reports page or another page.
The page may already contain tabs with reports. Click on + to add a new tab.
Fill in the parameters of the new tab: Name, Description. Select the image from the Image list.
If roles are configured in the project, you can configure the visibility of the tab for roles. To do this, select the Role and specify whether tab should be visible.
Select a role from the list and specify whether the tab is visible. Repeat this process for all roles if you need to restrict visibility for a role. Visibility depends from the selected role.
Click save. A new tab will appear on the panel.
It is possible to edit a tab. For example, a completely new page will contain Main tab by default.
Click on dots near the tab name, and select Edit.
Specify parameters as in steps 3-4 and click Save.
After the tab was created or edited, add widgets to the new tab page using the Add button.
Select Navigation and PowerBIReport widgets.
New widgets will appear in the layout.
Arrange widgets on the page.
The navigation widget does not require any additional settings. Only embedded widget requires configuration. Click edit icon near PowerBIReport on the Structure section.
Enter name in the Name line.
Insert the Power BI report (or ArcGIS Dashboard) link in the Source.
If roles are configured in the project, it is possible to specify a separate link for each role. Go to the Roles line. Select a role from the list and paste the report link.
Click save.
Uncheck Editing mode to preview changes.
You can see how the configured tab looks like.
After making changes, you can check the Clearion Web website that the configuration links to. Please note, that to see changes it’s necessary to update the page.
